I’m sorry that there’s an obsession with being “skinny”. Blame it on the shallow Americans and Asians. As you can see, the more materialistic the culture, the more prejudice there is…about weight and anything else.

The most important thing is that your are physically and emotionally healthy. People come in all sizes and shapes and I can’t stand it when we tried to squeeze diversity into a boring box. Sometimes life sucks too much already, please don’t make it boring too!

Love your food! Keep on making your magic happen in the kitchen. Peace

Re: the fat issue–yay, thank you for posting this. I really really hate the whole “go vegan because you’ll be skinny, YAY!” crap (as I ranted about here). There are so many things wrong w/those assumptions (skinny=healthy, blah blah), most of which could be debunked by a quick visit around some fat activist blogs, meh.

My friend who is Swedish just got back from visiting his family there and he told me all about it (my father’s side of the family is Swedish) and I am in love. I want to move there and never come back! He was telling me all about these little cars that people can park facing the curb (and not parallel). Do you know what these cars are? My husband is really curious.
