Something fishy!
September 13th, 2007 @ 16:10A couple of days ago we went with my mother to an Afghan restaurant and had their buffet. Now, this buffet only had 2 vegetarian dishes and one of them was mini spring rolls. Doesn’t that sound like proper Afghan food? Anyway, the eggplant, courgette stew was delicious and the rice was just perfect. There was also a tabbouleh-ish salad that was totally delish!
Also pictured is the Fluffy Tofu Omelet from Joni’s cookbook Cozy Inside. Buy it! It’s really great.
And then finally (WOW this was great) two days ago we had faux salmon, with dilled and buttered potatoes and a sauce made out of soygurt and fake caviar. The fake caviar is delicious. Made from seaweed, it tastes just like caviar, even my mother agrees! The meal was really tasty although a bit weird. It tasted so fishy! I bought the fake salmon at Astrid och Aporna. Everyone in the south of Sweden really needs to go there. It’s a supermarket style store with vegan/vegetarian and organic food. Gooooo!

This might seem weird and all, but I saw you the other day. I’ve read your blog for some time now, since you write lovely about food (we also share the “struggle” of loosing weight). I’ve seen some pictures of you, and yesterday me and my boyfriend passed you and your man at Nova Lund.
I don’t know where I’m going with this – I just want to tell you that I admire you for yuor struggle and love for cooking.

And I can’t really comment on your hair and stolen (!) socks – you looked fine to me! 
Before I forget to mention it – I think we have a friend in common – Innid?! We went to “fritids” together some 1867894 years ago. We initiated contact three years ago, but we rarely meet.
